Return to Friends of WGDR Site
Documenting the historical accounts of Goddard's community radio station and media programs will be an unending task. Please respond with corrections and additions to any of the dates or materials via email.
All of us from WGDR would appreciate your help and involvement with our attempt to document as accurately as possible what many would describe as an unimaginable journey. I began this archival research sometime in 1993, five years after starting my employment as station manager in 1989. I hope I can find a way to contribute past my departure to additional memories of the most precious community radio station I have ever found on any dial. Over time, I hope you too will learn to appreciate the delicate nature of experimental free form radio, how truly rare this is, and the visions and beliefs that have and continues to keep it alive.
Thank you,
from all of us that are,
and have been a
part of wgod to wgdr
